The Realme GT 2 Pro will be available in India on April 22.
Realme has sent out press invites for the introduction of its flagship portfolio, the Realme GT 2 series, which includes the Realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro.
The launch ceremony is set for April 7 and will be a digital launch event that will begin broadcasting at 12:30 p.m. on that date.
Earlier, a Twitter post hinted at April 9 being the debut date, however, the message was removed. The business has now released the official invites for the launch of its first-ever flagship phone.
In terms of hardware, the Realme GT 2 Pro features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, a 6.7-inch LTPO2 AMOLED display with 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 1000 Hz touch sampling process.
It has up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage space. The phone’s battery capacity is 5000mAh, and it supports 65W rapid charging. The phone boasts a triple rear camera arrangement that includes a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide lens with a 150-degree field-of-view, and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens with a 150-degree field-of-view. The phone’s third sensor is a 3MP shooter for macro pictures that comes with a 40x macro lens. On the front is a 32 MP selfie camera for selfies and video calling. The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 65W rapid charging.
The Realme GT 2, on the other hand, is powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It has a triple camera arrangement on the rear, including a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.
One of many powerful phones available in the Indian market.
These phones will compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series , iQoo 9 Pro, and Moto G30 Pro, all of which are already available in the country.
However, Realme has been rapidly expanding in recent years, therefore the GT 2 Pro is highly crucial for the firm as the first-ever true flagship phone. The phone is projected to cost roughly Rs. 60,000 in India, making it Realme’s most costly phone in a price-sensitive market like India.
Aside from Realme’s GT 2 Pro, several additional premium phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC are set to launch in India in the near future. OnePlus is likely to announce the availability of the OnePlus 10 Pro soon, while Xiaomi is expected to release its Xiaomi 12 series.
