Iphone 16 pro rumors
We’ve been waiting for the next step since Apple revealed the notch on the iPhone X in 2017. The ultimate smartphone design, in principle, would have the display occupying the entire front side of the device. There are no buttons or notches, simply a screen. All of the front-facing cameras and sensors will be placed beneath the display to accomplish this. After years of rumors and conjecture, according to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple could finally be ready to debut its first “full-screen iPhone” in 2024.
Apple’s first iPhone with a full-screen display.
Kuo used Twitter in March to update one of his earlier predictions. Apple might launch under-display Touch ID as early as 2023, according to the expert. Last month, he took this back, stating that under-display fingerprint sensors will not be available on the iPhone until 2025. Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, agreed, but added that under-display Face ID would be available with the 2024 iPhone.
I think the real full-screen iPhone will come in 2024. High-end iPhones in 2024 would adopt an under-display front camera alongside the under-display Face ID. A low-light condition is detrimental to front camera quality, and ISP & algorithm are critical for quality improvements. https://t.co/vWjeZYZUPK

Kuo responded to Young a few days later. He also anticipated that the iPhone 16 would be the first iPhone to include Face ID under the display. Now, about three weeks later, Kuo has added to the conversation once more, this time with a more comprehensive prediction for the iPhone 16:
IPhone 16 pro: Selfie cameras built into display
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, if Kuo is correct, will be the first iPhone models to use Face ID and selfie cameras built into the display. He also mentions some of the difficulties that Apple will have to face. Low-light situations are particularly challenging for an under-display camera. Improved image signal processors (ISP) and machine learning algorithms will be critical if Apple wants to unveil its “full-screen iPhone.”
Rumors about the iPhone 14
When it comes to Apple leaks, Kuo and Young have unrivalled track records. Despite this, they’re still making predictions for a phone that won’t be out for another two and a half years. Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 rumour mill is churning out new material on a daily basis.
The notch will still be present on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro . Instead, according to leaks and reports, Apple will release a new pill and hole-punch design this year. Apple will chisel out a pill-shaped hole and a small, circular hole for the selfie camera and Face ID sensors rather than the complete “sensor housing.” It will resemble the display of a recent Android phone, but with a distinctive twist to set it apart.
If Kuo and Young’s estimates about 2024 are right, this will probably also apply to the iPhone 15 in 2023. So you’ll have to wait another couple of years for a full-screen iPhone, but those who weren’t sold on the iPhone 13 ‘s somewhat reduced notch should have a new design to look forward to this fall.
